Regent's Park

“We want to be inspired....”

Regency inspiration

A kitchen design inspired by Sir John Nash and the Regency movement, specifically an urban plan of Regents Park from 1833.

Collaborating with our bespoke joinery team, we merged a traditional painted shaker kitchen with a uniquely modern handle-less island, featuring running grain, crown-cut oak. The island itself is positioned as a stepping-stone from what was the old part of the house, marking a transition into the new, modern extension. A classic example of how an alternative approach to a client’s brief can evolve into something so unique with layers of hidden meaning and secret design gems waiting to be discovered!

We were blown away by Kevin's uniquely creative ideas on using Regent's Park as a template for the island, with the flow from the other rooms culminating in a major wow factor.
